The Ouzoud Waterfalls
The Ouzoud Waterfalls are a series of cascades approximately 110 metres high, spread over three tiers, situated in the picturesque geological landscape of the Tissakht Wadi, at an altitude of 1,060 metres in the Atlas Mountains, in the Central High Atlas region of Morocco.
These spectacular waterfalls, considered among the highest and most beautiful in Morocco, often crowned by a rainbow, are situated in a lush, rural red-sandstone wadi (valley), resembling an oasis, planted with olive groves, almond trees, fig trees and carob trees, where a dozen small traditional oil mills are still in operation...
The Ouzoud Waterfalls are accessible from the small town of Aït Aâtab, about 25 km from Béni Mellal or Marrakech.
