The Ourika Valley
To escape the constant hustle and bustle of Marrakech and get some fresh air, you don’t have to go far. Just an hour from Marrakech, the Ourika Valley unfolds against a magnificent mountainous backdrop. Along the route, you’ll pass Berber gardens and villages until you reach Setti Fatma and its famous waterfalls.
The Ourika Valley is best visited between spring and autumn. The ideal period runs from March to the end of May, then from September to November, when temperatures remain mild, the skies are clear and the vegetation is lush. These months are perfect for hiking.
Summer, which is sunnier and busier, remains a good option provided you avoid the hottest part of the day.
